Golf
For some the allure of playing a new course is just too tempting to resist, and no wonder when there are so many championship golf courses in Thailand.
In Phuket there are 5 courses to choose from. The Banyan Tree Resort & Spa offers an 18 hole, 71 par golf course designed by Max Warlor in the Laguna area with natural hazards such as coconut trees and lagoons.
Hua Hin & Cha-am offers 3 courses amongst which is the Jack Nicklaus designed Springfield Royal country club of Cha-am, which opened in 1993.
Chiang Mai also offers some superb golf in amazing locations, such as the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club. Be aware of moving obstacles though, elephants can be quite temperamental when hit by golf balls!

Snorkelling and Scuba Diving
Snorkelling and diving is possible in Phuket, Koh Samui and Pattaya. The waters around Phuket team with marine life and are immensely rewarding. Diving is recommended between October to May for the clearest visibility on the west coast. If you choose to go scuba diving, many hotels are able to offer dive courses.
Snorkelling can be enjoyed in sheltered bays all around Phuket and Koh Samui.
Thai Boxing
A true experience, though not for those of a squeamish nature. It can provide an exhilarating evenings entertainment where opponents attempt to win through fights using their hands and feet. Many towns have local Thai Boxing arenas, but our representatives in Thailand will be able to assist you to book the more reputable fights.
