Bangkok Airways was established in 1968 with a ten seater airplane, Today, Bangkok Airways flies to a total of thirteen destinations in five countries: Bangkok, Samui, Phuket, Sukhothai, Pattaya Beach (Utapao), Chiang Mai, Hua Hin in Thailand. In Cambodia, we fly to Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat (Siem Reap). They also fly to Jinghong in China, Luang Prabang in Laos, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam and Singapore.
Departure lounge at Bangkok Airport is equivalent to First Class or Business Lounges at other airports. The difference is our lounge is available for all our passengers. All of the cabin crew have been trained by Swiss air, to ensure you a smooth and enjoyable flight.

Thai Airways International
For over 50 years, Thai Airways International has grown from a small domestic airline to the major international carrier that it is today. Thai Airways International are able to offer a range of seat classes to suit your preferred method of travel.
Royal First Class offers reclining sleeper seats in a spaciously arranged cabin while enjoying delicious dishes served on fine chinaware. Passengers may also request a video Walkman and select their own entertainment from an onboard video library that includes five first-run movies, three classic films, one ballet or music video, and one major sports event video. (This is only available on international flights.)
Even in economy class, good seating and excellent meals equivalent to those served in some airlines' business class. Passengers can enjoy a wide range of entertainment programs and facilities (see below). For parents with small children, there are bulkhead anchors for complimentary bassinets, and nappy-changing shelves in the toilets.

Virgin Atlantic and Singapore Airways
Virgin Atlantic and Singapore Airlines announced a global partnership in December 1999, with Singapore Airlines taking a minority equity stake in Virgin Atlantic.
