Let us assist you with your wedding arrangements in Mauritius.
A stress-free and a truly reliable service, we co-ordinate all your arrangements with our partners White Sand Tours and your chosen hotel on the island.
Planning service
We can assist with your plans and preparations and offer advice on types of ceremonies available. Requests such as preferences in the location of ceremony can be discussed. Covering all aspects from answering your questions to arranging extras such as videoing the big day to even liaising with your chosen hotels to decide the menus, entertainment and decoration.
If friends and family are joining you we can arrange suitable accommodation and even try and negotiate special group’s deals for your guests. We can even pre-arrange transportation should they be staying at different resorts.
Formalities and Civil Administration
All our weddings overseas include a special wedding licence, and local administration. Transportation to the Central Status Office in Port Louis, to swear your affidavit and have your banns published.
Our representative will escort and guide you for the entire process.
Please note – that as a government requirement in Mauritius ladies that have been divorced for less than ten months must take a pregnancy test locally (usually most hotels include pregnancy kits as part of the wedding package), or alternatively to bring a certificate from their doctor proving that the bride is not pregnant.
We require the following documentation to arrange the wedding:
• Birth certificates of bride and groom.
• Home addresses of both parties.
• The last two pages of the current EEC type passport showing photograph, date of birth, name details. These must be clear copies as these are used as verification.
• Occupations for both parties.
• If changed name, a declaration by deed poll will be required.
• A sworn affidavit showing that neither party have been married before.
• If divorced a decree absolute will be required.
• Copies of previous marriage certificates are compulsory.
All documentation must be received at least eight weeks before departure otherwise special courier charges will apply.
