Jerusalem

Situated high in the Judean Hills, Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is one of the most extraordinary cities in the world, presenting a unique combination of ancient history, spiritual sanctity and colourful cultures. Sacred to the world’s three main religions, Jerusalem is a captivating city, whose visitors are left touched and inspired by the shining glow of its religious shrines, picturesque scenery and magnificent golden limestone.

Tel Aviv

This city is Israel’s largest and as locals affectionately call it “The Big Orange “. Tel Aviv is a cultural happening. Highlighted by the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, housing a comprehensive collection of impressionist and post impressionist works, and the Diaspora Museum of Jewish History, which chronicles Jewish culture throughout the ages in an impressive multi-media display. Tel Aviv is also home to a spectacular array of dramatic arts, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the venerable Cameri, Gesher and Habima Theater companies, and the New Israel Opera Company, the only one in the country. At night clubs and pubs shake till the crack of dawn throbbing to the sounds of record scratching DJ’s breaking out the beat. Crowds of young and old throng to Tel Aviv’s many nightclubs and bars, making it one of the hottest spots in the world. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Tel Aviv Jaffa is a major tourist attraction full of cafes, boutiques, restaurants, bars and art galleries.

Haifa

Israel’s major port and an important centre of industry and commerce, Haifa spreads over the slopes of Mount Carmel, which commands a breathtaking view of the city and bay.

Netanya

This seaside resort city boasts some of the loveliest beaches in Israel. Visitors can enjoy the alluring shoreline by walking on the new 700 metre long sea promenade situated along the sea cliff. The promenade also offers playgrounds, benches, grassy areas, and bicycle routes. There are many all the year round free activities, and the city offers endless sports facilities, enchanting white beaches, water sports, paragliding, horseback riding and exciting nightlife.

Herzlia

The resort city of Herzlia boasts spectacular beaches, which attract visitors all year round. The Marina located at the southern end of Herzlia has a jetty for 800 sailboats, and has a recently opened shopping mall and boasts a variety of restaurants.

Tiberias

This area has been a popular destination for tourists for over 2000 years. As early as Roman times this thriving recreation spa, built around 17 natural mineral hot springs more than 600 feet below sea level, extended a warm welcome to visitors from every part of the ancient world .Built by Herod Antipas, the city was named Tiberias in honour of the Roman Emperor Tiberius. The New Testament contains several references to the lake, which is also known as the Sea of Tiberias, the Sea of Galilee, Lake Tiberias, and the Sea of Gennesaret. No other area in the world is so closely associated with the life and times of Jesus. It is a religious centre for Christians and Jews alike, with many religious shrines and historical sites. Today Tiberias and the surrounding shores of the Sea of Galilee is a year round vacation spot. The Sea of Galilee offers every conceivable water sport. Its 32 mile shoreline abounds with natural trails, hills to climb and caves to explore. Tiberias is famous for its hot springs and health resorts and spas.
